The Passenger

Yo is a strong young man, but with limited mental skills. He says he is fifteen years old, although he seems to be older. He lives and works in his mother's restaurant by a busy freeway. Yo loves his mother but hates her lover. One day he meets Elena, an eleven year old girl, who will change his life for ever.

At the end of the 1930s, a small group of men refuse to accept amnesty and decide to continue their fight against religious persecution. This is the courageous story of these soldiers of Christ, who carry out their struggle with little food and ammunition, against an arid and rugged landscape.

A depressed and solitary Frenchman wanders around a fishing community on the Mexican Pacificcoast. After spending days in this place of stunning natural beauty, his emotional state doesn’t seem to improve. He is not interested in anything or anybody.When he meets Pablo, a fisherman who shows him his simple way of life, Julien starts to feel better.
