Lieutenant Duke Halliday is accused of stealing the army payroll he was responsible
for, some $300,000. He heads to Mexico to track down the real thief, a certain Jim Fisk. Once in Mexico, he meets Fisk’s embittered ex-girlfriend, whom Fisk has weasled out of her savings with false promises of marriage. Duke and Joan start out on a frantic race over the roads of Mexico, chased by Capitan Blake, hot on Duke’s trail.
