Traveling with Che Guevara In 1952 Ernesto Che Guevara wrote a diary of his travels in Latin America with his friend Alberto Granado. In 2004 Walter Salles brings this story to the big screen in The Motorcycle Diaries. Gianni Miná, representing Guevara?s family and Alberto Granado, collaborated on the script and decided to direct Travelling with Che Guevara, in which he follows the surviving member of the motorcycle trip, Alberto Granado, during the shooting of the film so as to retrace, through Granado?s memories, the original journey
