The film tells the surreal story of a day in the life of twenty-something multi-billionaire Eric Packer, an asset manager trying to cross New York City in a limousine to get a hair cut. Haunted by the specter of a mystery assassin and threatened by the chaos of the city, Packer?s journey brings him into contact with a series of characters, including various sexual partners, his wife and his doctor.
