A heavy rain pounds the humble dwelling of the family of nine-year-old Luis. Water enters the house, which is located in a tropical area of Veracruz, while Luis plays the violin without flinching. However, the tragedy is inevitable: the river overflows. This is an emotional story about the healing power of music.
