The Salamander Pierre, a journalist, and Paul, a novelist, are working on a TV series based on a real news story: a young woman was accused of trying to murder her uncle and released due to lack of evidence. Paul imagines the character; Pierre interviews him. The dreamer and the realist agree to work separately, then compare the results. Jonah, Who Will be 25 in the Year 2000 In Geneva, in 1975, Jonah is born, the fourth child of unemployed typographer Mathieu Vernier and his wife Mathilde, a factory worker.
