Stan gets kicked out of his home for not paying rent. As we wonders through the streets, he is hit by a streetcar. He wakes up to find out he has been adopted by a stray puppy. This unexpected companion seems to be an added burden, but ends up being great compay. Thanks to the puppy, Stan manages to evade a thief, and join a dog show where he meets a beautiful, dog-loving, and wealthy girl.
