Adapted from a 2007 Israeli film called Ha-Hov (The Debt), this spy thriller takes in two parallel storylines. The first is set in 1997 and follows two retired agents, Rachel and Stefan, who receive disturbing news about a former colleague, David. The second recounts the story of the three agents? completion of a mission to capture a Nazi war criminal in 1966. As the stories develop in parallel, they reveal the complex relationships between the agents, culminating in Rachel having to make a difficult choice between love and duty.
