Amongst them is Francis, a conscientious factory worker who continues to repair the machine that he has worked on all his life; Samir, his son, who returns after a long absence; Maria, the neighbor, and her son José, who is convinced his father is Gary Cooper and waits for him on the street every day. Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
