David Tedeschi).Daniela Michel, founder and director of the festival, welcomed the producer, expressing honor at having a project of this magnitude in Morelia. Olivia Harrison thanked the audience and shared a moving personal anecdote about the impact of the Liverpool quartet. “Back then, I always saw the Beatles in black and white on the Ed Sullivan show, and I also saw them in grayscale on their album covers,” she said. When the Beatles first came to the United States, Olivia Harrison was motivated by devotion to go and welcome them at the airport. “They were stepping off the plane one by one, and as they stepped off, the whole world became colorful.”Harrison remarked on how The Beatles changed the world and brought color to it with their music, and despite all the recognition and awards they received, they continued to have fun and behave like teenagers. The Beatles arrived in New York amid unprecedented excitement and hysteria. From the moment they landed, Beatlemania swept across the country. Their debut on The Ed Sullivan Show captivated more than 73 million viewers, making it the most-watched television event of its time. Beatles '64 presents the show, but also tells a more intimate behind-the-scenes story, capturing the camaraderie of the quartet as they achieved unimaginable fame.A short video of Martin Scorsese, the film's producer, talking about the project was shown before the film began. When he received Olivia's proposal, he found it impossible to turn down the opportunity to tell this story in a film.
