Fundó, junto a otros artistas, el estudio de animación Llamarada con el objetivo de dar vida a proyectos artísticos dirigidos a las industrias de cine, televisión, publicidad, entretenimiento y cultura. Gracias a su originalidad, diseño y vitalidad artística, Llamarada se ha colocado como uno de los estudios independientes más importantes de la Ciudad de México y en los ojos de destacadas empresas dedicadas al arte y la cultura. Entre la filmografía de Alejandro García se encuentra Sin juicio (2010), Las tardes de Tintico (2012), ganador del 10º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia en la categoría de Mejor Cortometraje Mexicano, y Santolo (2013), cortometraje realizado para el proyecto de la Ciudad Intervenida y ganador en el festival Animasivo 2014, en la categoría de mejor corto nacional.
