Se formó en los talleres de Ambulante Más Allá y el "CCC con patas", así como en la Escuela de Cine Documental de San Cristóbal de Las Casas. Actualmente se desempeña como cinefotógrafo, sus trabajos más recientes son Negra, de Medhin Tewolde, y Kuxlejal/Vida, de Elke Franke. Mamá es su ópera prima como director.
