Su última película, el corto documental ¿Por qué los matas? ha sido reconocido con el premio a mejor cortometraje nacional en el festival Doqumenta Querétaro 2019 y fue seleccionado para participar en la Sección de Cortometraje Documental Mexicano en el FICM 2019.
