De 2011 a 2012 fue asistente de investigación de la doctora Yvette Jiménez de Báez en el Colegio de México; en 2016 obtiene la beca Jóvenes Creadores del FONCA. Su cortometraje, Campo abierto (2016), forma parte de la Selección Oficial del 11º Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de México (Shorts México) y del 14º FICM. Ha trabajado como director de fotografía y fue asistente de dirección de La camarista. Ganó el primer premio en el Concurso michoacano de guión de cortometraje en el 15º FICM y actualmente forma parte de Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporaines, donde desarrolla un proyecto documental.
