En 2007 inició su carrera como director de cine y tres años después, Candy (2010), su primer cortometraje, fue seleccionado en diversos festivales internacionales como el Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG), México; el Sedicicorto International Film Festival, en Italia, entre otros. En 2012 presentó El pescador en la Selección Oficial del 9º FICM y obtuvo una Mención Especial, también fue nominado al Ariel como Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción y seleccionado en más 45 festivales internacionales como la Muestra Internacional de Cine en Hong Kong y el Chicago Latino International Film Festival. En 2016, Ascensión, su primer cortometraje animado y codirigido con Samantha Pineda, fue seleccionado en la 14º edición del FICM, en el Macabro International Film Festival y Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de México- Shorts México. Actualmente, en colaboración con Samantha Pineda, trabaja en la posproducción de Happiness, su más reciente cortometraje, y en el guión de su ópera prima, Pequeño suicidio, seleccionada en el Oaxaca Screenwriting Lab y el Jóvenes Creadores del FONCA. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
