Image Mariño; Gabriel Dirección, Producción, Fotografía, Edición, Guión, Música, Sonido Estudió la licenciatura en Historia en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) y Cinematografía en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), Ciudad de México. Su obra ha recorrido numerosos festivales alrededor del mundo, entre ellos, tres ediciones del festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). En el 3er FICM, estrenó su cortometraje experimental Vivir. 1 (2003). Participó en el 7º FICM con su mediometraje documental Bardo (2007), dentro de la sección “Cine sin fronteras”. Esta película participó, además, en el 9º Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente (BAFICI), Argentina; en el 25º Festival de Cine de Torino (TFF por sus siglas en inglés), Italia; y en el 4º Festival Internacional de Cine Contemporáneo de la Ciudad de México (FICCO), donde obtuvo el Premio KODAK a la Mejor Película Mexicana. Participó en el 9º Taller Colón de análisis de proyectos cinematográficos, Colón, Entre Ríos, Argentina, y en el 2º Taller de análisis de proyectos cinematográficos El Molino, en el marco del 5º FICCO con el proyecto de su ópera prima Un mundo secreto (2012). Esta obra recibió diversos apoyos y ganó, entre otros reconocimientos, los premios Mezcal y Cinecolor en el 27º Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG), México, y el Premio Estudiantil a Mejor Película de Ficción y una Mención Especial del Prix Découverte de la Crítica Francesa en el 24º Encuentro Cinelatino de Toulouse, Francia. Su cortometraje de ficción Algo tan pequeño (2013) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 11º FICM. Con su trabajo Ayer maravilla fui, fue seleccionado dentro de la Sección de Largometraje Mexicano del FICM 2017. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
