Obtuvo, por esta obra, el Premio Rigo Mora en el 26° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG); un Premio Especial del Jurado en el 33° Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, La Habana, Cuba; y Mejor Animación en el 5° Corona Fastnet Short Film Festival, Irlanda, entre otros. Su cortometraje Taller de corazones (2016) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 14° FICM, resultando ganador como mejor cortometraje de animación. Con Los aeronautas (2016), obtuvo el Ariel a Mejor Cortometraje de Animación en la 59ª entrega de los premios Ariel, México.
