Su cortometraje de animación El maestro y la flor (2014) formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 12° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) y ha participado, además, en el 9° Festival Internacional de Cine para Niños de Busan (BiKi por sus siglas en inglés), República de Corea; en el 17° Festival Internacional de Cine de Shanghai (SIFF), República Popular China; y en el 5° Festival Internacional de Cine de Apchat One Country One Film, Francia, entre otros. Obtuvo, por esta obra, la Diosa de Plata a Mejor Cortometraje de Animación en la 43ª entrega de las Diosas de Plata, México, y una Mención Especial a Mejor Producción Nacional en el 19° Festival Internacional de Cine para Niños (…y no tan Niños), La Matatena, Ciudad de México.
