En México Workers ganó el Premio Mezcal en el 28° Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara (FICG) y el Ojo a Mejor Largometraje Mexicano en el 11° Festival Internacional de Cine Morelia (FICM). Ha sido seleccionada por decenas de festivales, entre ellos el 28° Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata, Argentina; el 61° Festival Internacional de Cine de San Sebastián, España; y el 18° Festival Internacional de Cine de Busan. Fue nominada a seis Arieles en la 56° entrega de los premios Ariel de la Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas (AMACC). Su segundo largometraje Las búsquedas (2013) ganó el Premio del Jurado Joven en el 3er Riviera Maya Film Festival (RMFF) y Mejor Película en el 9° Festival Internacional de Cine de Monterrey (FIC Monterrey). Asimismo ganó el Premio World Cinema Amsterdam y el Premio del Jurado del 23° Festival de Biarritz. Desde 2015 es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA-CONACULTA) en la categoría Cine, en México. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
