Como directora y guionista realizó los cortometrajes Muerte anunciada (2006) y El milagrito de San Jacinto (2007), antes de debutar en el largometraje. Su ópera prima, Los insólitos peces gato, Selección Oficial del 11ºFICM, fue estrenada en el Festival de Cine de Locarno.
