Participó, con su cortometraje de ficción Un lugar en el océano (2012), en el 18° San Giò Verona Video Festival, Italia; en el 8° Festival Internacional de Cine de Pasto (FICPA), Bogotá, Colombia; y en el Short Film Market del 27° Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Clermont-Ferrand, Francia, entre otros. Su cortometraje de ficción De hombres y bestias (2014), obtuvo la Mención Especial del Jurado en el 21th Geneva International Film Festival (Festival Tous Écrans) y recibió el Premio Especial Studio 5 de Mayo en el 12º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia. Fue seleccionado en el 7º Festival de Cinema Rural Corto e Fieno, en Ameno, Italia; en el 5º Festival Internacional de Cine UNAM, dentro de la sección Ahora México y como parte de la Selección Oficial del 18º Festival internacional de Cine de Guanajuato. Su proyecto de cortometraje, Bruma, fue seleccionado en INCUBADORA, apartado del área industria del 18º Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato y en 5º Laboratorio de Producción Experimental LABEX en Santiago de Chile. Participó en la edición del cortometraje de Amat Escalante, El cura Nicolás colgado, que forma parte del trabajo colaborativo Revolución (2010), obra presentada en el 8º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM); seleccionada en la 49ª Semana de la Crítica, Cannes; y ganadora del premio Abrazo a Mejor Largometraje y del Premio del Sindicato Francés de la Crítica de Cine en el 19° Festival de Biarritz de Cine y Culturas de América Latina, Francia. Trabajó, además, en el departamento de arte de Heli (2013), de Amat Escalante, presentada en el 11° FICM y ganadora del premio a Mejor Director en el 66° Festival de Cannes. A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult. This is an erratic film that invites us to reimagine the complex relationship we have with the constructed “mexicanidad.” See More Ziuta travesías Ziuta, a Polish Jewish survivor of World War II, was an extraordinary woman who sparked special devotion for her political commitment and her support for clandestine struggle. With a Super-8 camera that once belonged to his father and has remained untouched for 41 years, he plans to retrace the path of the shepherd: the journey of transhumance that his grandfather undertook in his youth, following now-forgotten coordinates.
