Fue dos veces ganador de una Mención Honorífica en el Concurso Estatal de Cortometraje sobre Concientización Social “La culpa la tenemos todos”, organizado por la asociación civil Acción Unida, Morelia: en la primera edición con Eclipse (2010) y en la segunda edición con El festín del monstruo (2011); que también formó parte de la Selección Oficial del 2° Festival Internacional de Cine Puebla (FIC Puebla).
