Participó en el 7° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su cortometraje de animación La nostalgia del Sr. Alambre (2009), que recorrió más de 200 festivales alrededor del mundo, y por el que obtuvo, entre otros, el premio Coup de Cœur en la 71ª entrega de premios del National Film Board of Canada (NFB); el premio Simona Gesmundo otorgado por la UNESCO y la Academia de Cine Italiano; y una Mención Especial del Jurado en el 38° Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca, España. Su cortometraje Who killed Imagination (2012) obtuvo el Premio Creative Focus en el 36° Festival Internacional de Cine de Animación de Annecy, Francia. Participó en el International Pitching Market en el marco del 15° Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés), y en el Binger Writers Film Lab, Holanda, 2011, con su proyecto de largometraje de animación The Morphable Man (terminado en 2014). Su cortometraje Soy fuego (2014) formó parte del Short Film Corner en el marco del 67° Festival de Cannes. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! A frenetic view runs over a convulsed Mexico City, a colossal metropolis sustained by the myth of "mestizaje" and other colonial forms of violence. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
