En el 2° FICM participó con su cortometraje experimental Bio-Bit, donde obtuvo el premio a Mejor Trabajo de la Sección Michoacana. En el 3er FICM compitió con su cortometraje de ficción Mexican Beauty (2005). En el 4° FICM participó con su cortometraje de animación No soy gringo (2006), que se presentó también en el 12° Festival de Cine Internacional Method Fest, California. Tres años después compitió en el 7° FICM con Si Lito Domínguez fuera Kalimán (2009) y en el 8° FICM con Luna (2010), que formó parte a su vez de la Selección Oficial del 2° Festival Internacional de Cine Puebla (FIC Puebla).
