En el 2° FICM con El pasajero (2004), en el 4° FICM con Verde (2006), en el 6° FICM con Wadley (2008) y en el 7° FICM con Calambre (2009). En el 9° FICM compitió con Los últimos cristeros (2011), cinta que viajó a más de veinte festivales alrededor del mundo y que obtuvo varios premios, entre ellos Mejor Director Latinoamericano en el 3er Premio Anual Cinema Tropical; el premio Coup de Coeur en el 24° Encuentro Cinelatino de Toulouse; Mejor Película de la Selección TV UNAM del 2° Festival Internacional de Cine UNAM (FICUNAM); Mejor Película en el 17° Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine (Split Film Festival) en Croacia; y Mejor Película en el 1er Riviera Maya Film Festival (RMFF). Su último largometraje de ficción Yo (2015) fue parte de la Selección Oficial del 13º FICM, donde obtuvo el Premio a Largometraje Mexicano.
