Obtuvo la Beca Jóvenes Creadores del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA) en 2009. Su obra ha recorrido más de 50 muestras y festivales alrededor del mundo, entre ellos dos ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Ganó, entre otros premios, la Diosa de Plata por Mejor Cortometraje en la 35ª entrega de las Diosas de Plata, México, y el Premio Silver REMI a Mejor Cortometraje en el 39° WorldFest-Houston International Film & Video Festival, Texas, por su cortometraje de ficción La voz de las cigarras (2005). Ganó el Premio del Público en el 3er Festival de Cine Universitario Kinoki, Ciudad de México, por su cortometraje El joven Telarañas (2006). En el 5° FICM participó con sus cortometrajes de ficción El gusano (2006) y Edén (2007), ganador, este último, del Premio a Mejor Cortometraje Mexicano en el 20° Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés), en el 3er Short Shorts Film Festival México (SSFFM) y en el 1er Festival Internacional de Cine de Cancún Riviera Maya. Participó en el 9° FICM con su cortometraje de ficción Jet Lag (2011) y obtuvo el Premio del Público en el 26° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG) por su largometraje de ficción Los inadaptados (segmento “chat”) (2011). Participó en el Taller de Producción Morelia LAB en el marco del 9° FICM con el proyecto de su largometraje de ficción Cuatro lunas (2014), ganador en el Guadalajara Construye 7 en el 28° FICG. Su cortometraje de ficción, La madrastra (2016), es parte de la Selección Oficial del 14° FICM. Other Movies Mexico will no longer exist! Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
