Su obra ha recorrido más de diez festivales alrededor del mundo, entre ellos dos ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Participó en el 4° FICM y en el 19° Encuentro Cinelatino de Toulouse, entre otros festivales, con su cortometraje de ficción Bestiario (2006); ganador de una Mención del Jurado en el 10° Cine Las Americas International Film Festival, Austin, Texas. Participó con su ópera prima Táu (2013) en el 10° FICM, en el 29° Festival de Cine de Varsovia (WFF por sus siglas en inglés) y en el 21° Festival Internacional de Cine de Praga Febiofest. Su proyecto para su segundo largometraje Las tinieblas obtuvo, entre otros premios y apoyos, una invitación a participar en la sección Cine en Construcción del 26° Encuentro Cinelatino de Toulouse por parte de Morelia LAB, así como la representación de México en la 10ª edición de L’Atelier, en el marco del 67° Festival de Cannes. Su cortometraje de ficción Negro forma parte de la Selección Oficial del 12º FICM.
