An Englishwoman named Joan Webster travels to the remote Scottish Hebrides Islands to marry a wealthy industrialist. Trapped by bad weather on the island of Mull, and unable to continue to her destination, Joan finds herself enchanted by the simple, straightforward islanders around her, and increasingly drawn to naval officer Torquil MacNeil, who harbors a secret that could change her life forever.

Before the screening, the critic described the film directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger as “one of the most romantic films ever made.” Steeped in mysticism. He also said that the film, made before the end of World War II, shows not only how love was experienced at the time, but also the hatred felt towards those who benefited from the war.

He also recalled that during the filming of I Know Where I'm Going!, Michael Powell fell in love with actress Pamela Brown, which affected the way Powell and Pressburger worked.
