The Ministry of Culture of Morelia Invites You to the Panel “Film Commissions as Allies in Audiovisual Production” at the 22nd FICM

As part of the 22nd Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), the Ministry of Culture of Morelia, the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico, the Mexican Film Institute ( IMCINE), the Mexican Film Commission (Comefilm), along with the municipal agency, through the Film Commission of Morelia, invites to the panel “Film Commissions as Allies in Audiovisual Production” on Saturday, October 19 at noon at Espacio Solaris. Admission will be open to the general public.

This event is held to strengthen the Mexican film industry by fostering collaboration among the different film commissions and facilitating audiovisual production throughout the country.

The panel “Film Commissions as allies in audiovisual production” will include the participation of Comefilm's coordinator, Diana Álvarez Segoviano; the commissioners of Morelia, Juan Pablo Arroyo Abraham, Sandra Aguilera and Alejandro Sosa; the commissioner of Michoacán, Fernando Gutiérrez Lara; the commissioner of Baja California, Javier Espinoza Medina; the commissioner of Chihuahua, Daniel Ikaichi Baca Tuda; the commissioner of Guanajuato, Eduardo Aburto Garduño, and Christopher Reza Rivera, commissioner of Hidalgo.

This event is part of the ongoing effort of the Morelia Ministry of Culture to reaffirm its commitment to the promotion of Mexican cinema and the promotion of emerging talent.
