Two teenage brothers embark on a road trip to the U.S.-Mexico border to track down the man responsible for the car accident that killed their father. Accompanied by their stepsister, the three embark on a tense journey of revenge and growth.

In the Q&A session after the screening of the film, Guillermo Arriaga recounted that this was the first film script he ever wrote: "I was 35 or 36 years old, I was going to direct it, but I sold the rights for decades, and when I got the rights back I told my children that I wanted them to direct it, but I couldn't find the original typewriter version. Santiago found it in a box. I couldn't be prouder as a father."

About working together, Mariana Arriaga shared: "We have been working together for seven years, we started co-directing Santiago's degree project. We have a very similar vision and I think it works (...) We are a very close family and to be able to grow by accompanying him (Guillermo Arriaga) and now do a project all together is a privilege."

"We are two directors doing one job," added Santiago Arriaga, "Before we start filming, we try to ask ourselves as many questions as possible. We try to arrive as prepared as possible because both Mariana and I develop different bonds with the actors."
