The premiere was attended by Daniela Michel, founder and general director of the festival; Julio Chavezmontes, producer, and actors Daniel Giménez Cacho and Nahuel Pérez Biscayart, who accompanied the director during the gala.

The feature film tells the story of Remo, whose self-destructive behavior eclipses his talent. Abril, an upcoming jockey, is pregnant by him and has to decide between having his child or continuing to race. They both race for Sirena, a businessman who saved Remo's life in the past. One day, Remo suffers an accident, disappears from the hospital and wanders around the city without identity. Sirena wants him dead or alive, while Abril tries to find him before it's too late.

Daniel Giménez Cacho shared his impressions about the film's script: “I loved my character's universe. There are so many things going on in the world regarding identity issues, that somehow this permeates the underworld.”

The Jockey continues its tour of festivals, having also been part of the last edition of the Venice International Film Festival.
