La leyenda de la Nahuala is set during 1807 in Puebla, this story focuses on how Juan must face his fears in order to rescue his annoying older brother Nando, who has been captured by the Nahuala. Nando is the victim of a spell which will hold total control on November the 2nd. This film includes the voices of Rafael Inclán, Andrés Bustamante, Jesús Ochoa and Ofelia Medina, and others. This movie was heartily received by the public who loved to watch it. La leyenda de la Nahuala is a magical journey through time and space, it highlights Aztec characters, Spanish characters and Mestizo characters, some who lived and some imaginary ones, some living and some dead. All these characters create a funny anecdote during día de muertos (Day of the Death or All Soul’s Day). [imagen]At the end of the film the filmmaker Ricardo Arnaiz, script writer Omar Mustre, and audio director Gabriel Villar, Foprocine director Víctor Ugalde; producers Socorro Aguilar, Paul Rodoredo, Eduardo Jiménez and Jean Pierre Leleu; art director, Oscar Aragón and the representative of Puebla, María Teresa Cordeiro, had a small question and answers session, where most of the questions came from children. - “I liked it but it was scary”- said a girl.- “I had never seen such a scary movie, I was so scared, but I really enjoyed it” – said another girl. Arnaiz was praised for the way he portrayed Puebla City: “I wish to congratulate you for your detailed drawings.” La leyenda de la Nahuala, is the first Mexican animation movie made digitally and it will also be shown on digital media. It will be premiered next Thursday November the 1st, and there will be 350 copies.
