Kate Ogborn and Molly Windsor present The Unloved

Also exhibited during the showing, was the short film Kingland by Tony Grisoni, produced by Ogborn.

"Kingland is Tony Grisoni's first film," Ogborn said. "The Unloved comes from the heart of Samantha Morton as she recreates in this film her own experiences in a children's home. The only thing you will come away with from the film is what a young person feels living in a youth rehabilitation center," Ogborn said in an interview.

Tony Grisoni and Samantha Morton worked together filming the movie. Ogborn said it was a very emotional experience, and they took great care that the actors, especially the young ones, felt comfortable.

Regarding Samantha Morton's work as a director, Ogborn said she was very concerned about the young people and didn't force them to read the entire script. Instead she explained what happened with each character without them having to know what happened to the rest, especially the adults.

Molly, who gives life to the protagonist in the film, said it was very difficult for her to understand Lucy's life. "I have a very wonderful family and I never thought what it would be like to experience a reality like this one. But little by little I understood I had to become a different person," she said.

The actress accepted that all the feelings she would experience during the film would be "very sad," and at the end of each scene she needed someone to comfort her. "Fortunately there was always someone there to hug me," she said.
