O Corno, a co-production between Spain, Portugal, and Belgium, tells the story of María, a midwife dedicated to supporting women during childbirth, who is forced to flee following a tragic event that changes her life forever.

“I was deeply impressed by her immense talent, her intelligence, her craft, her gentleness, and a very radical quality in her approach to filmmaking,” said the festival’s founder and director, Daniela Michel, regarding the filmmaker.

Speaking about O Corno, Camborda noted that she likes to provide space for the audience to experience her films through movement—not just emotional, but physical.

“The film belongs to you; whatever you perceive is the valid version. I am not here to impose a film upon you, but rather to offer a space for your own imagination and personal experience—so that you may enjoy it,” the filmmaker added.
