Geraldine Chaplin: Special guest at the 10th FICM

Geraldine Chaplin's first appearance on the big screen was when she was eight years old, in the beginning sequence of Limelight (1952) directed by (who else?) Charlie Chaplin. From then on, her talent and passion for cinema have led her to collaborate in such iconic films as Doctor Zhivago (1965) by David Lean, in the controversial Cría cuervos / Raise Ravens (1967) by Carlos Saura, as well as more recent international successes as Hable con ella / Talk To Her (2002) by Pedro Almodóvar and El orfanato / The Orphanage (2007) by Juan Antonio Bayona, among many others.

On this occasion, Geraldine Chaplin comes to Morelia to present one of her more recent works: Et si on vivait tous ensemble? / And If We All Lived Together? (2011) by Stéphane Robelin. It is a comedy in which five old friends decide to live together as an alternative to living in a retirement home. A student of ethnology, whose thesis is about senior citizens, joins them.

Geraldine Chaplin will present the screening of And If We All Lived Together? on november 9 at 20:15 hrs. at Cinépolis Centro
