Orson Welles) was held in the presence of American film producer Frank Marshall, with film critic Alonso Díaz de la Vega serving as a moderator In 1970, director Orson Welles began filming The Other Side of the Wind, a film that, due to budget and logistic problems, could not be completed until 2018 – 33 years after his death. This feature film was finally made possible thanks to the collaboration and efforts of Frank Marshall, Dominique Antoine, Jan Rymsza, Dean DeBlois, Dax Phelan, Royal Road Entertainment, and Netflix. “I started working on this movie in 1970 with Orson Welles and we worked on it for five years on and off until I had to do things for work and Orson continued to edit and shoot until he died in 1985. It wasn't until 40 years later that a small group of people who had remained very dedicated to this project made an effort to raise the money to finance it,” Frank Marshall said. The Other Side of the Wind tells the story of filmmaker J. J. "Jake" Hannaford, who after an exile in Europe decides to return to Hollywood with the intention of filming an irreverent movie. This satire is a fascinating time capsule.
