Forum of Indigenous Peoples 2021

The Forum of Indigenous Peoples is a space that, as part of the diverse program of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), has always pursued to focus on the narrative proposals of Indigenous filmmakers.

What are the themes, concerns, perspectives, and narrative styles? This year's selection includes a variety of formats and styles, addressing key topics that are part of important societal discussions today: territory, migration, social change, shifts in gender roles, and the importance of tradition in shaping identity.
