FICM presents Imaginantes

Martínez explained that Imaginantes is a way of doing art by portraying it: "every televised minute means three months of work for us. This speaks of the care, detail and memory that must be given to art."

Gordon also spoke about the project "Workshop of Imaginantitos" that encourages the habit of reading, especially among adolescents.

Mogollón said that with this project he is putting his "grain of sand" to help improve the level of education in the country.

"We are touring with Imaginantes to reach the forums where the teachers go. Our next one will be at FIL (book fair) in Guadalajara."

He invited the public to visit his web page (www.unlectormas.com) to find out more about the activities underway to promote reading in the country.

The creative project Imaginantes was a winner at the New York Film Festival 2009 and Promax and Animacor in 2008. The capsules screened at the 8th Morelia International Film Festival are currently transmitted on Televisa and Channel 22.
