The presentation was attended by Dr. Alejandro Pelayo, the director of the National Film ArchiveFernando de Fuentes, the grandson of the director; and Jorge Martínez Micher, the assistant director of outreach of the UNAM Film Archive.

Pelayo praised the film for the remarkable evolution of it and the magnificent closure it provided to the trilogy. He emphasized that the large production budget was not wasted, as the film offers us scenes of battles that were more than epic.

Martínez Micher mentioned that it is an honor that the FICM scheduled the film on a date so close to the 100th anniversary of Pancho Villa's death. On the other hand, he revealed that the film they screened had a different ending, restored by the UNAM Film Archive, more faithful to the literary work.

"The trilogy, it is not good that I say it, but it is one of the greatest works that have been made in Mexican cinema, and I say it with great pride," concluded De Fuentes.
