Ella es Cristina, by Gonzalo Maza, premiered at the 17th FICM

As part of the international premieres of the 17th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), Chilean filmmaker Gonzalo Maza, in company with actresses Paloma Salas and Mariana Derderián, presented his film Ella es Cristina to the festival’s audience.

Regarding the work that the film process has represented, the Chilean director said that everything starts as a small idea and it becomes meaningful: “Making cinema is planting a seed.” He dedicated this screening to his Chilean compatriots for the situation they have been going through these days: “We dedicate it to Chile, to those who give the fight every day.”
