During the presentation, Mattison spoke about how inspired he felt by the strength of Afro-Colombian and indigenous peoples, and how they were able to unite and become the base of support for Gustavo Petro.

The production by Guagua Productions, Mil y Una Historias, Crypto Castle Productions and Long Count Films, portrays former M-19 guerrilla leader and Colombia's most charismatic and polarizing politician, Gustavo Petro, as he runs for president.

Among the audience was Lereida Sánchez, a woman displaced by the violence in Colombia, emotionally congratulating the production team, since this documentary reflects the story of paramilitary aggression she lived through in her hometown.

Concluding to applause, Mattison commented: "We have been following Petro's story for 15 years, however, when we found out that he was running for president for the third time, we contacted him and that is how we were able to document his trajectory.
