Insignificant Things arrives to theatres

The Mexican film, Insignificant Things (Cosas Insignificantes) by Andrea Martínez Aura, premiered in the sixth edition of FICM, arrives on Friday to commercial theaters in Mexico.

The movie, with leading actress Bárbara Mori, the actors Fernando Luján, Carmelo Gómez and Lucía Jiménez, Paulina Gaitán, Blanca Guerra and Arturo Ríos, tells the story of Esmeralda, a young teenager who keeps a box filled with apparently insignificant things. These objects to her contain the true meaning of life. Most of them are lost, forgotten or thrown away objects by strangers. She manages to pick them up and treasure them. In her hands, a piece of glass, a handwritten note or an old photography can come back to life while she creates stories about them, stories that she can´ t live or feel on her own account.
