Call for entries – 1st National "Cineminutos" Competition

The Office of The United Nations High Commission for Human Rights, AMBULANTE Travelling Documentary Film Festival, Cinépolis, The Commission for Human Rights in Mexico City, the Program for Human Rights UIA and the UN Inter-Agency Group for Human Rights in Mexico launch the 1st National Competition "Cineminutos", Un minuto para los derechos humanos’, which marks the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The Call for entries will be open from July 25th to September 25th 2008 and aims to encourage the promotion and diffusion of Human Rights through cinema, a medium that creates an outlet for expressing and exchanging ideas.

The jury will include Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal as well as other prominent figures in film.
