In the end, Andrea Stavenhagen talked about the economic spill of the San Sebastián International Film Festival through an economic study that the festival carried out in 2012: “It is an event that draws a lot of attention and has national an international media impact. Its budget is between 7 and 8 million euros; it has public and private financing, and that investment is multiplied about seven times.”
