Cherien Dabis to Present ALL THAT'S LEFT OF YOU at the 23rd FICM

Thanks to Cine Caníbal’s support, Cherien Dabis, Palestinian-American director, producer, screenwriter, and actress, will attend the 23rd Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) to present her film All That's Left of You.

The film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, depicts the trauma a family has endured for decades. After a Palestinian teenager confronts Israeli soldiers at a protest in the West Bank, his mother recounts the events that led to that fateful moment, beginning with the forced displacement of his grandfather.

The film, executive-produced by Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem, is Jordan's entry for the Best International Feature Film category at the upcoming Academy Awards.

The award-winning filmmaker earned her Master of Fine Arts in Film from Columbia University. Her debut feature film AMREEKA premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and won the Critics' Award at Cannes.
