The documentary illustrates one of the final concerts given by the excellent Cuban musician Israel “Cachao” López, where we see actor and producer Andy García, who is also a huge advocate of Cuban music, play the congas and act as the host. Cachao: Uno más, directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, is one of those documentaries, or better said, concerts, where it is impossible to stay still while listening to the sounds of the bass played in perfect time with the bongos, kettledrum, piano, and even the violin. As the trumpet and congas start to play, the music takes you on a trip through Havana, New York and Africa fusing the unique style of a legendary musician who passed away in March 2008. Cachao López won four Grammy Awards and was given a star on Hollywood Boulevard.
