During the brief talk that they had with the audience, they spoke about how to get better distribution for shorts both nationally and internationally. “The panorama of the short film on Mexico is always getting wider. There are festivals that are dedicated to this genre, as well as conferences, screenings at cultural institutions and on television,” said actor Alfredo Herrera, who also said: “they make short films with the resources that they have, they can’t wait for high level production; we tell honest stories.” Yoame Escamilla said, “instead of showing advertisements before each film, they could show a short film, which would create a larger audience.” Alejandro Ramírez said, “the important thing is that people get to see our work anyway they can.”
