To celebrate this alliance, the FICM presented a selection of short films that have won and been nominated for Oscars. Linda Olzewski, representative of Shorts International, the company that distributed shorts to the Academy in London, New York, Paris, Los Angeles and Munich, said that she was very interested in films made in Mexico in the categories of fiction and animation to be shown in Shorts on iTunes, Shorts TV France and Shorts TV Podcast. “The market for Spanish speakers in the United States is very big and diverse, which is why Shorts International has proposed to distribute Mexican films there and in Latin America,” she said.
