ANETTE, THE MUSICAL RETURN OF LEOS CARAX AT THE 19TH FICM

Carefree, he exits Cinépolis Centro. He sits on a bollard, crosses one leg over the other, and smokes. He stares at nothing behind sunglasses. He would like to go unnoticed but he can’t get away with it in black boots, beige baggy pants, a black shirt, a leather jacket, a hat; people who don’t know who he is, know that he is someone. Leos Carax must be someone.

He puts his cigarette out and walks towards the Mariano Matamoros theater, two hours before the 19th edition of the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) opens with his film, Anette. There, he watches the press and the press watches him. Photos and more photos. His attempt to remain inconspicuous remains as such. Then, he disappears without a trace.

Annette, de Leos Carax, tendrá su estreno en México en el 19° FICM
