Bedevilled at Cannes

Directed by South Korean filmmaker Jang Ceol-Soo, the film tells the story of Hae-won, a woman in her thirties who works in a bank in Seul and whose life is dramatically changed after she becomes a witness to a murder.  The situation at work also gets complicated and she is forced to go on vacation. She decides to visit her family on the island of Moodo.  When she arrives, Bok-nam, a young woman who is treated like a slave, asks Hae-won to help her escape.
